Flashing at the Zoo

These are the last of our photos that include any well-known Cincinnati landmarks. Future photos will just be of us having fun wherever!

The fountain will probably be familiar to University of Cincinnati alumni. The zoo photos were taken at the same time as some previous photos at the Cincinnati Zoo sign. But the East Fork State Park photos have a special significance to us...

We are often asked if we have ever gotten caught taking our photos. We're sure people have seen her flashing from time to time (the girl in the elephant photo looks mighty suspicious), but we have only really been confronted by the authorities once, and it turned out to be a positive experience. In the state of Ohio, the public indecency laws are written so it is only indecent to expose your genitals (vagina & penis) in public. Local governments here and there have added their own rules, so the only place that a woman can go topless and expose her breasts with a very good chance of law enforcement being OK with it is where there are no local laws. That magical place is at any of the Ohio State Parks. In any State Park in Ohio a woman can legally be topless, topfree, or whatever term you choose, even at the public beaches in the State Parks, and the park rangers know this is legal. Commissioned Park Rangers, who have a badge, carry a gun, and are the law enforcement for Ohio State Parks, have been educated well on this. Even though we had no plans to actually test this out ourselves with a park ranger watching, as we were snapping the pictures here in front of the park bench a ranger just happened to drive up in his truck and see her with her breasts out. She quickly put them away, but he pulled up and got out of his truck and said "You might as well get them back out, I've already seen them!" He said it with a smile, though, and we started talking to him. He confirmed that she was within the law and just wanted to see for himself, not stop her or warn her. So he took a few photos on his camera phone and we said goodbye and headed home, having enough adrenaline and lessons for one day.
