Nude Assortment

Hi TODPeepers! For some reason my usual response doubled last month - Thank you!

I'm trying to come up with a better idea for Halloween and I'm tossing around several options. Unfortunately I might not be able to do it without it being a little too revealing and maybe just a little more than 'suggestive' like the images that are more typical for me.

Speaking of which - not sure what order you'll see the pictures in, but in my brain, for this month...

I had someone ask about 'Western wear' that I'd usually tromp around the farm, including laughing at my possible hat and over-alls. Obviously I can't show you _my_ hat, because, well, I'd probably strut around naked in front of the camera long before I'd get so personal as donning my working hat (not to mention - the stains and manure splots are possibly a little less than sexy) - hope you'll settle for not seeing my hat...

And over-alls? Seriously? Do you know how hard it is to make over-alls look good? And if you think the hat is soiled and bent, my cover-alls are completely for work - holes and everything. So hopefully a jean jacket will work instead - it's a little easier to make it look better.

Two questions came up about the most recent book. One I can answer easily: 'How many covers do you do for each book?' Honestly, it depends - on "Coming Up Roses" I got to pick from at least six roughed out ideas like this one. A typical book cover shoot involves me in a number of different poses and situations that have been penciled out that might work, followed by more open framework, just in case (which usually ends up as 'inside' material, either for interior cover page or further back in the 'about the author' sections). And lots of it just gets tossed (like the one in this post - I liked the background, but the tummy pooch was _way_ too prominent - and not really my fault! I'd just been sprayed with water (simulated, uh, well, say the title of the book out loud and spell that first part differently!) and it was freaking cold. It hit my thigh and belly and I involuntarily started to jump up when he yelled, 'Stop! Or it'll run!' - so I had to just halt my cursing and jumping up, elbows under me - which angled my belly up - and I was probably doing that good old 'sphincter push' with the cold, further upping the pooch to new heights.

The other question is about something I make a big deal about in my books, but never mention here on TODP: why do I do this. I guess it's time to lose the few 'fans' I may have acquired: I have HSDS (Hypoactive Sexual Desire Syndrome... some might know it as the other name, Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD))...

... Welcome back all you search-engine-heads! And now that you're educated, you're busy saying, "No freaking way!" Unfortunately, "Yes... way."

And while I've had the occasional success while fighting to find some way to make me feel 'normal' like most women can without trying, I've been trying to use TODP and my writing as a way to force me to think about sex and sexy things. I've been working at it for a year-and-a-half now using this author-writing/TODP posting, trying to make it a habit, not something I have to work at. There was a point I thought it was working near the beginning of the year - and it was amazing. I truly felt normal and was remembering to 'get busy' as the case may be. Unfortunately then I started losing again. (Get it? Losing? The picture? Hey, just because I have a screwed up brain doesn't mean I don't have a sense of humor. In fact, _because_ I have mis-wired brain, I don't usually have a grasp of TMI ("Too Much Information") or a sense of embarrassment about my body or being naked) - So I tend to just grab any random picture of mine that pertains to the subject at hand (the folks that write me, if I'm not careful, sometimes get an eyeful - and sometimes in the most unsuspecting situations (like making the mistake asking how I take care of my long hair / dry it after a shower - one of my famous situations with friends where it turns out I send her a picture of my hair turbie... unfortunately my boob was also apparently visible in the same picture, fresh out of the shower).)

So to answer the question, yes, I'm still full-blown HSDS - and unfortunately no end in sight. I've managed to drop below the base level when I first started my journey here - which was pretty disheartening.

Anyway, so that it's not a shock, just in case I finally call it quits in the near future on the writing/posting, I didn't want the wonderful people here on truthordarepics to think it was their fault if I stop posting or not posting at least once a month. Out of all the things I've tried, even though nothing apparently worked, the folks here have been the most supportive with only a rare negative comment from anyone - it's been wonderful. Thank you.

So that last image? Yes, even though I've lost a bunch and continue to lose - a funny thing happened recently - I spent a day of 'winning' (if you know what I mean) and everything came back, at least for 18 hours before slipping away again - so figured I'd share a little celebration type picture. (Not to mention, the butt-people need love too, you know!)
