Cindy and me were sitting in front of the TV watching some stupid movie rerun that we've probably seen ten times when I finally had enough."Turn that fucking shit off. Ten seconds later, we had our first pic. We quickly gathered the camera and scrambled back in the car, not a moment before a car came around the corner. We ducked down as it went by, then drove off again.
We took pictures at the grocery store, the closed up gas station, the sporting goods store and Petsmart. We even went into the 24 hour laundromat that was unoccupied but fully lit and took a picture. We were headed back in the general direction of our house when we came upon a tavern that we sometimes drink at. She pulled onto the lot and parked at the side. "What are you doing?", I asked. "I want a picture of us in front of the bar!" "You gotta be kidding!" "What if somebody comes out?" "Then there'll be more than two people in the picture!" "You're nuts!" "Chicken? I DARE YOU!" (The D word had to come sooner or later) "OK!-dare accepted!" I got the camera ready, she drove up to the front door, we got out, set the timer and when the flash went off, we were standing there pointing up at the sign above the doors. We made a mad dash for the car and headed out onto the street just as a cop car pulled in the other entrance! That was a close enough call for us to call it a night. When we got home, we printed all the pictures and looked at our night's work several times before we wound up on the floor in the computer room fucking our brains out.
The next morning I overheard Cindy on the phone telling Jody what we did last night. She told Jody she couldn't wait to show her the pics we took and that she DARED her and Willie to outdo us. I can't wait to see what they come up with!
