I keep thinking about the story and getting pissed off. For the benefit of those who have not read them, I will simplify them as Hilda got into being a submissive, she was driven by the loss of all power, and the danger that it brought, then she signed an “employment contract” that essentially striped her of any rights. For long periods of time she was fed only cum, she was tied or caged without any ability to move for long periods of time and she was essentially mistreated. She was even sold from one dominant to another, from the U.S. to other countries… and all the while losing her, her husband was so aroused by the whole thing he did not even stand up for her safety.
First off, the contract. The story mostly took place in the U.S., I am from the U.S. and I know U.S. law. I don’t care how much one pays a lawyer, this contract is not worth the paper it is printed on. The justification for it was that it was an employment contract. However, federal law requires that a person get paid a minimum amount of money per hour for their labor. She was not financially compensated in any way. Law limits the number of consecutive working hour without the freedom to go home, or go wherever you wish. Even live in help has to have the right to leave for a certain number of hours a day. Further, you can not tie them up and prevent them from going wherever they like. There are safety regulations for employees that are there for their safety. You can not confine an employee to a cage they can not move in, you can not flog or otherwise strike an employee, etc. And but for a very few restricted jurisdictions, under very specific circumstances that this situation did not even approach, sex for pay is not legal. This in no way even resembled a legal employment contract. So women, please do not believe anyone, no matter how high powered or rich they may seem, if they tell you that you have to be a slave for any legal reason. It just is not so… at least not in the United States.
Please do no take this as me railing against sub/dom relationships. Sure, they are not my thing. But I think I have a pretty good grasp of understanding of such relationships. I have a female dom friend that tells me of how great such relationships can be for the right people, and how safe it can be for the sub with the right people.
That said, those in this story clearly were not “the right people”.
Keith was her husband. Many guys get excited by showing off, or knowing other see, their significant other. Many guys get excited by their significant other being sexually taken care of by someone else. And some guys even get off by someone else pleasing their significant other to the exclusion of them (cuckold). Once you are excluded, that is where I get completely lost on that program. But at least I understand the rest of it. But with all of this, there has to be boundaries. And those boundaries are there, among other reasons, for the safety of the participants. Keith ceded all boundaries, and refused to stand up for Hilda OR himself. The whole thing aroused him so much that absolutely nothing else mattered. After she is sold to another dominant, Keith gets divorce papers. Supposedly at Hilda’s request, he gets quarterly pictures of her sent to him… and years into this he is still aroused beyond belief thinking about the whole thing… knowing she is literally an abused sex slave. Clearly this man could not truly care ABOUT HILDA.
Gary was the guy who got her to sign the contract. The guy was simply an ass without a care in the world about Hilda. Had one of the people he offered her up to killed her, he would simply have washed his hands of the situation without a second thought about her. This is not erotic, appealing, or a situation ANYONE should be drawn into, willing or not. If you value yourself so lowly that this could be appealing, you have a problem that goes WAY beyond sex. The line between dominant and abuse it not THAT fine a line. The dom/sub relationship is a roll play that is intended for fun. Be it an hour, a day, a weekend or a week… each session has a finite period of time. Often using a “safe word”, or the like, there is a way that the sub may essentially call a time out. Although a sub, that person is still a person… and should not be abused for abuse sake. This story, although not associated with any religious element, depicts the worst of what Sharia Law has to offer.
