When making this decision there are several things to consider. Some have to do with convenience and comfort. Some have to do with aesthetics. I’ll break down some of the process for you with pros and cons for you to make the decision. In doing so, I will specifically identify four regions of consideration.

It is to go bare in this area for a couple weeks of the month, and let it grow the other couple weeks. Of course you would want the bare time to include THAT time to maximize the benefit.

To offer this service, they do have to go through significant technical training, so most are professionals. The next obstacle is location. You have two options, close by for convenience, or across town to minimize the likelihood of running into this person at the grocery store, for instance. To some, this would be a very embarrassing situation. Convenience is great, but comfort is more important. Drive a few miles every once and a while if it makes you more comfortable between visits. Then there is the person. Both males and females offer this procedure. There are some women that would “just die” for a male to see them in that situation. Then choose a female to do it. On the other hand, there are many females who may be a little homophobic, or maybe a little squeamish, about having another female touch them down there, at least a male would seem more “normal”.
